# Text Formatting

Highlight your selected text to use bold, italics, strikethrough, monospace, or a *spoiler* that taps to reveal.

Compose a message.
Before hitting send, highlight the text you want to format. A menu will appear.
Scroll through the options to select Format (iOS).
Select the formatting style.
Send the message.

CoolApp Desktop also has keyboard shortcuts for text formatting.
